£0.99

Achillea forms a mat-like habit with dark green deeply cut foliage, producing gorgeous flowers in early summer.  The showy blooms attract bees and butterflies and are excellent for fresh or dried cut flower arrangements. This flower can be grown in a wide range of conditions tolerating both heat and poor soil.

Growing Instructions

  1. Start the seeds indoors between February-June.
  2. Sow the seeds on the surface of moist compost and leave uncovered or lightly cover with vermiculite.
  3. Place in a heated propagator at a constant temperature of 15-20c.
  4. Make sure the propagator is placed somewhere bright as light aids germination.

  6. The seeds will germinate in 7-14 days.
  7. Once the seedlings are 5-7cm, transplant into individual pots.
  8. Gradually acclimatise the plants to cooler conditions.
