Lovage is a flavourful microgreen that produces uniform, serrated leaves on delicate stems. These microgreens are highly nutritious and have a similar taste to celery and parsley lending a delightful complexity to soups, salads and dips. Due to their strong flavour, only a small number of shoots are needed to flavour a dish.

Our microgreen and sprouting seeds are untreated, non-GMO, and have undergone rigorous laboratory testing for pathogens.

Lovage – Growing Instructions

Sow your seeds directly onto a moistened growing medium.
Lightly mist the seeds with water.
Place the seeded tray into a second tray without drainage holes. This will allow you to bottom water the tray
Cover with another tray on top to stop light getting in. Then place a weight inside to encourage the roots to grow down and to help the seeds make good contact with the growing medium.
Leave the seeds undisturbed for 2 days, there will be enough moisture in the tray for the seedlings. If more water is added, then it increases the chance of mould growing.
After this, check daily to see if the soil is dry, then gently mist.
Once the seedlings are 1-2cm (normally around day 9-10), place in a well-lit location.
When watering the seedlings, keep using the bottom tray.
Harvest between 21-29 days or when the seedlings are 5cm tall. Cut the stems above the soil line with a knife or scissors.
