Fennel Green microgreens is a milder, but sweeter substitute for the fully grown herb. These seeds produce thin white stems and grass like leaves with subtle anise notes. A perfect addition to salads, sandwiches and soups, Fennel Green adds flavour and nutrition to meals including vitamins, iron and fibre.

Our microgreen and sprouting seeds are untreated, non-GMO, and have undergone rigorous laboratory testing for pathogens.

Fennel Green – Growing Instructions

Sow your seeds directly onto a moistened growing medium, which is 3-4cm deep.
Lightly mist the seeds with water.
Place the seeded tray into a second tray without drainage holes. This will allow you to bottom water the tray
Cover with another tray on top to stop light getting in.
Blackout for 3-4 days and gently mist when the soil is dry.
Once the seeds are 1-2cm, they should be ready to be placed in a well-lit location.
When watering the seedlings, keep using the bottom tray.
Harvest when the seedlings are 5-7cm tall. Cut the stems above the soil line with a knife or scissors.
