Tulip Maureen – Cultivation Advice

  1. Plant between September-November, before the ground freezes.
  2. Loosen the soil to a depth of around 30cm and mix in organic matter to improve the drainage and soil quality.
  3. Use a hand trowel or bulb planter and dig a hole which is double the depth of the bulb.
  4. Place the bulb with the pointed end facing upwards.
  5. Gently cover the bulb and lightly compress the soil.
  6. Use a fertiliser in early spring, when new growth appears to support healthy blooms.
